Dr. Ming was recognized by the Dental Lifeline Network as an exceptional dental school graduate who has committed to volunteerism and public service, especially for individuals with special needs.

A Visit With Our Lawmakers in Washington, D.C.

​

Dr. Ming joined other members of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD) from across the country with the mission to discuss pediatric oral health goals with members of our nation’s government. These visits, which took place over several days, was a part of the Pediatric Oral Health Advocacy Conference (POHAC).

 

The ask is Bipartisan:

Special Smiles for Special Olympics

Dr. Ming participates in Special Smiles, a discipline of Healthy Athletes which provides comprehensive oral health care information, including offering free dental screenings and instructions on correct brushing and flossing techniques to participating Special Olympics athletes. (see: middle row, left w/ Cubs hat)

Dental Access Days

and Heal Elgin 

Dental Access Days and Heal Elgin are Chicago area organizations whose missions iare to extend free dental care to people in poverty and the mentally disadvantaged.

Dr. Ming's Annual Spring Cleaning 
Socks are one of the most under-donated items at homeless shelters, but are often the most needed. In 2018, Dr. Ming collected over 45lbs of socks from friends, family, and patients for the Pacific Garden Mission in South Loop, Chicago. (left)

Dr. Ming coordinated and collected community donations for Chicago based women-and-children and refugee shelter (right)
